Distinguished or Undistinguished, What's Your Choice?

Greetings, fellow Toastmasters in and around Cincinnati!

Our District Governor-elect, Merle Shinault, DTM, has set an inspiring theme for the new Toastmasters year: "Getting Better Together." 

Imagine a stranger complimenting you today about your speaking skills. Does this actually happen to you? Does it happen more often since you joined Toastmasters? If YES, then you clearly know all about Getting Better Together! If NO, well, are you satisified with your skill level? Will you use the NEW YEAR (July-June) to learn and grow? Let's do it together and have fun. Let's make it valuable, by aligning our efforts with our personal goals and our club's goals. "Getting Better Together" will most surely be the result!

D-I-Y IMPROVEMENTS: How can we be better Toastmasters, to shape ourselves and shape our world? Some timely ideas:

• Read about fellow Toastmasters who have been  "Newsmakers"! 
• Review/create your plan of accomplishments (1.) for the next 30 days, and (2.) between now and end of TM year (June 30) -- for all your important goals.
• Spend quality time to prepare for your next presentation(s), or spend time with The Toastmaster magazine or one of your manuals.
• Share with fellow Toastmasters the link for this page: www.cincitoastmaster.igroops.com.
• If you have not yet renewed dues (Apr-Sept) with your Treasurer, will you renew this week?
